Vocabulary Builder

I listened to Morning Edition former correspondent Rob Gifford talk about his "China Road Trip" this morning. I listened to the series when it originally aired (and you can hear it here). I'm putting the book on my list.

But, the part that stayed with me all morning was a new word he used to describe China's government. I had to look it up when I got to work.

Sclerotic

From Wiktionary
Hard and insular, often in sclerotic bureaucracy

My New Word.
